Ordering Recommendations

• Connect filter and amplifier output directly to A/D input.
• Keep cable lengths as short as possible.
• Use BNC boxes for input connections only.

BNC Boxes

Alligator Technologies recommends using BNC boxes for inputs only, and not for outputs, to avoid picking up stray capacitance and maintaining signal integrity.

• AT-BNC-3/I Standard BNC connector box with 0.5m cable for AAF-3 input 
• AT-BNC-16/I Standard BNC connector box with 0.5m cable for AAF-16 input

AAF-3

• CA31-x - Twisted-pair ribbon cable for AAF-3 input to open end, specify length (x) in 0.25m 
• CA32-x Twisted-pair ribbon cable for AAF-3 output to open end, specify  length (x) in 0.25m.
• CA33-x-y - Twisted-pair ribbon cable for connecting AAF-3 output to any A/D card (input only), specify length (x) in 0.25m and A/D card (y).
• CA39-x-y-z - Twisted-pair ribbon "y" cable for connecting AAF-3 output to any A/D card with a single input/output connector, specify length (x)  in 0.25m, A/D card (y), and A/D-output source connector (z).
