Description:
Career Opportunity in purchasing working in the high-tech electronics
development and manufacturing industry.
Skills you must have:
You must be highly organized to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and ability to make decisions independently.
Negotiate the best price. Understand how to use the Internet, Microsoft Office applications including
Excel, and Word.
Skills you should have:
Electronic parts purchasing experience preferred.
Experience with procurement software is a plus.
Your tasks will be:
Manage supplier relationships in support of product development and
manufacturing needs. Work with design engineers to understand purchasing requirements. Negotiate contracts, formulate and manage supplier lead-time
and total purchase-cost reduction programs. Manage the product production process.
Education:
Associates or Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
Experience:
1+ year of electronic component
purchasing.
