Software-Controlled 4-Pole High Pass Filter with Variable Gain Amplifier

The USBPHP-S1 is a fully programmable single-channel instrumentation amplifier combined with a 4-pole high pass filter. All parameters — gain and cutoff frequency — are controlled via USB.

  • Differential or single-ended input with ±40V protection
  • Software-programmable instrumentation amplifier gains of 1 to 10000
  • Programmable corner frequency from 10 Hz to 41.5 kHz (model dependent)
  • 4-pole high pass filter with choices of Butterworth or Bessel
  • High pass filter for low frequency or DC bias removal. Useful for demodulation and AC signal conditioning.
  • Non-volatile memory retains settings after power cycle for "Turn Key" operation
  • Compatible with any 12, 16, or 24-bit A/D converter
  • Includes Windows control software and SDK with API examples

Ideal for removing DC bias and demodulation applications, and any other situation requiring clean high-pass filtered signals with programmable gain.

Multi-channel Convenience

For multi-channel convenience populate the USBDR-8 USB and power distribution rack with USBPHP-S1 modules. The USBDR-8 can hold up to 8 modules and can be daisy chained to create very large channel counts with one host computer.

Connection to the Data Acquisition System

All I/O connections from the USBPHP-S1 are made via two BNC connectors or from the supplied removable screw terminal connectors.
